MDS Nurse

Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team (doctors, therapists, nurses, etc.) to create and implement care plans that address the patient's specific needs and goals.

Infection Control Nurse
Is a specialized R.N. position that plays a crucial role in assessing, treating, and managing wounds, including pressure injuries, that occur in the long term care population. This role also educates staff and patients on proper wound care and prevention.
Wound Nurse

The DON participates in the creation of resident care plans and, with support of nurse managers, ensures they are followed. This position is the clinical partner to the facility Administrator/Executive Director and develops the business plan and budget for the nursing unit. This role is the primary communicator with families, residents and physicians concerning the delivery and quality of resident care.
